About Media ry

Media ry is a registered association of all the people studying in the department of communications. The most visible task of the association is of course the organizing of delightful student parties. Another, more serious function of Media ry is to oversee the students' interests in the decision making of the department of communications. Our association also creates and maintains important connections to the working life and other student associations.

To counterbalance the studies Media ry offers various kinds of activities. Just to mention a few, we organize excursions to working organizations, theater visits, overseas traveling and the traditional student parties. The association is run by a yearly changed executive committee of students voted for the task every December. Despite the committee, one can always participate in Media ry's functioning without an official position. All new ideas, comments and hopes are welcome and can be sent for example to our chairman (called 'Puheenjohtaja' in Finnish)!
